Foshan Supervision Testing Centre of Quality and Metrology

Foshan Supervision Testing Centre for Quality and Metrology (FSTCQM), integrated by Foshan Supervision and Testing Station for Quality and Foshan Metrology Station, is a comprehensive technical organization with independent cause corporation capacity.

At the beginning of 2008, FSTCQM fulfilled its relocation and integration, which were of historical significance, marking a new leap in both testing abilities and testing area with an area of 43600 square meters.

There are three administration departments, seven professional quality testing departments and six metrology-testing departments in FSTCQM. It has a total of 300 employees; among them there are 4 doctors, 33 masters, 30 senior engineers, and approximately 100 engineers above intermediate level. Also it set up a post-doctoral scientific research center.

There are more than 4000 advanced test equipments in the centre, such as High Precision Liquid Chromatography, ICP Atomic Emission Spectrometer, ICP-MS, Wavelength Dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence Spectrometer, Friction Angle Tester and Large-Scale Gas, Liquid Flow Meter, High Precision Intelligent tester for pressure, illumination level, vacuum Level, with a total original value of more than 120 million Yuan. There are also a number of international advanced professional testing labs, such as high precision temperature and humidity chamber, EMC lab, noise testing lab, P-Ⅱsterilizing lab, insulation test system, insulation test system. It covers more than 2,200 authorized testing items, 166 calibration items, and 106 standard calibrating equipments of 10 catalogues, and offers testing service for more than 20 industries, including gas appliances, building hardware, electronic appliances, automobile and its spare parts, electric lighting source, food chemistry, light industry mechanical, metal materials and so on.

FSTCQM has achieved mutual-recognition with more than 50 international testing bodies, holding good fame among many international testing authorities, such as Germany GS, America FCC, UL, Italy GASTEC, IG, European Union CE, Canada CSA, IC, France BV, NF, Japan VCCI, PSE, Hong Kong Electrical and Mechanical Services Department, Hong Kong Standard and Testing Centre and so on. It has started business with about 20 international testing organizations.

As a national testing body with abundant abilities, Foshan Supervision and Testing Centre for Quality and Metrology is aiming to provide fair, high quality and efficient service for both domestic and abroad customers.
